DON’T FORGET YOU CAN ORDER YOUR MEDICATION UP TO 14 DAYS BEFORE IT IS DUE TO AVOID ANY DELAY OVER THE HOLIDAY PERIOD.

The way repeat prescriptions can be ordered is changing !!
What is changing? You will now have to order your repeat prescription yourself
Who will this apply to? This will only affect you if your medicines are ordered on your behalf by a pharmacy or company
Why is this Happening? This is a safer and more efficient way of ordering medication.

Your medicine cabinet
Be prepared for common ailments by keeping a well-stocked medicine cabinet at home.
Please order your repeat medication online, by registering at a local Pharmacy or at reception..
Please 'nominate' a local pharmacy to enable ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING to speed the processing of prescriptions. Speak to you local Pharmacy about 'NOMINATIONS'.
Please allow 2 working days for online and handwritten requests. You can order your medication up to two weeks in advance.
Please note we are only able to accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions via the automated 24 hour 7 day a week telephone system. Just dial the usual number and follow the prompts. You will need to obtain a PIN to order prescriptions, please contact Patient Services who will be happy to issue your PIN. (Click here for more details)
Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see either a doctor or a practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
